Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), [Company name, registration no., address] ("ALSATODE"), as data controller, processes your personal data as described below.

1. Personal data processed

  • Identity and contact: full name, business e-mail, company name, title, city/country.
  • Customer transactions: product listings, requests for quotation, quotes, status history.
  • Transaction security: IP address, browser information, session and activity logs, consent records.
  • Financing pre-application (only if you apply): transaction amount, declared limit, bank/branch, proforma details, Findeks credit report, bank limit confirmation, tax certificate, activity certificate, signature circular, financial statements, sales contract and any other documents the applicant adds.

2. Purposes

  • Creating your account, verifying your e-mail address and keeping the account secure;
  • Running request, quotation and communication processes between buyers and suppliers and reviewing listings;
  • Pre-checking and expert review of financing pre-applications and, with your explicit consent, coordinating with banks/financing institutions;
  • Information security, audit logs, legal obligations and evidence in disputes.

3. Legal grounds

Data is processed under KVKK art. 5/2: performance of a contract (c), legal obligation (ç), establishment, exercise or protection of a right (e) and legitimate interest (f). Sharing financing application data with banks and financing institutions is based on your separate explicit consent.

4. Transfers

Data may be transferred to service providers acting as processors (hosting, e-mail), to competent authorities and, only with your explicit consent, to banks/financing institutions evaluating your application. Quotes are shown only to the relevant buyer. Your financial statements, Findeks report and bank limit documents are never shared with sellers. Listing, request and quote texts are sent to an automatic translation provider (DeepL SE, Germany) so they can be shown to members in the other language; do not include personal data (names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses) in these texts. Cross-border transfers, if any, follow KVKK art. 9 [server location to be stated].

5. Collection method

Electronically, through forms, uploaded documents and automatic logs on the platform.

6. Retention

For as long as the purpose requires and the applicable statutory limitation periods, after which data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised [retention schedule to be added].

7. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the recipients, request correction, deletion or destruction, object and claim compensation. Send requests to kvkk@alsatode.com.
